My Little Sleeper

Rylyn has been sleeping in her crib for 3 weeks and I have to say it is going pretty good! She goes to bed around 10pm and sleeps until 4am. She usually eats and goes back to sleep until 6 or 6:30am. I will feed her again and take her to bed with me and she will usually go back to sleep until 9 or 10am. She does sleep better in the morning if she is with me so I don't mind. I could really care less if she slept with us til she was 3 but I don't think Eric would go for that. I just love watching her sleep. This picture was taken this morning after Eric left. Father's Day

Well Eric and I celebrated his first Father's Day yesterday and it was kinda cool. It was fun for me to look for cards for someone besides my dad or grandpa. I ended up getting him three because I could not decide which one to get. I feel bad because I really did not do anything special for him that morning. I got him a new hat because even though he has like 20 he said he really needed a new one. Who can resist some one so cute though.

I don't quite know how I roped him into marrying me. Anyone who knows him or knows me, knows that he is way out of my league. I definitely don't deserve him. He is a wonderful man and a GREAT husband. I am very lucky to have him in my life. I tell my mom that God knew my kids would need someone patient and kind to raise them so he gave me Eric. He knew I needed someone very special. It took me a while to convince him that he wanted me though. (ha ha poor kid. never knew what hit him)

Eric was wonderful during my pregnancy and has been even better now that our little baby is here. They are both such wonderful blessings and I am lucky to have them. I don't know how I will ever be good enough to deserve either one of them.

GO COUGARS!!!

We start them early in the Denney and Akers families. Her pappy was pretty proud of her team spirit when we got her ready at his house this weekend. It won't be long before she is shouting with the rest of us. "GO COUGARS!"

Two Months

Rylyn had her two month appointment Friday the 13th! It was not a fun time for her. She had to get 1 oral vaccine and five shots. Two in her right leg and three in the left. She now weighs 13 lbs and is 23.5 inches long. That makes her 90% in her height and 95% in her weight. The doctor was proud and told me to give myself a pat on the back. I have to admit that I do that every time I look at the beautiful baby! Even with how big she is, she still looks tiny and precious in the hands of her loving daddy.

Lovin the Love Sac

Although she is awake in these pictures she likes to take naps curls up in the Love Sac. Maybe she feels like she is still being held. Regardless of why she likes it, I am glad she does because she looks so cute just sitting there like a big girl.

Rylyn's Blessing

Rylyn was blessed on June 1st. We had lots of family and friends over for lunch afterwards and it really was a blast. My mom made her blessing dress. She is simply amazing especially since she didn't use a pattern.

Bumbo

Well we tried the bumbo seat for a little while the other day. Of course it didn't last long because she gets tired pretty quickly holding her head up but she was happy in it while it lasted. She is just growing up so fast.

Happy Days

Lately we are all smiles! Grinning starts first thing in the morning and usually continues through the day and I absolutely love it! Rylyn is so much fun!

She even smiles through her hiccups which she still gets frequently. The good news is that she only gets them once or twice a day now though.

We get some interesting facial expressions now too and it makes us wonder what she is thinking

Bath Time

Rylyn loves bath time. She loves the warm water and lateley she really gets into it. Cooing and giggling the whole time. She doesn't always like to get out though so that part is kinda rough but we love it, especially the snuggling that comes afterward when she smells all clean and yummy.
